QHSE Coordinator/ Manager

PitPoint, therefore, invests in the production of Biomethane, will open new fuel stations for Biomethane/CNG and LNG in 2017, installs and maintains charging points and will start to install hydrogen fuel stations. We are driven by nature to move forward.

In order to strengthen our development in Europe, we are looking for ambitious people who want to work with us on clean transport. People who, like PitPoint’s colleagues, want to use clean fuels to reach our vision on clean transport in 2030. At the moment, we have a vacancy for:

QHSE Coordinator/ Manager (32-40 hours).

You are responsible for Quality, Health, Safety, Environment and Sustainability to support the development of the organisation and to provide the managementsystem structure. (inter)nationally at PitPoint.

What are you going to do?

  • You provide motivation and familiarization of all company personnel respecting the importance of complying with company system procedures and all Safety equipment. This concerns the national and the rollout to the international organization.
  • You provide technical support to Senior Management on quality or safety related subjects.
  • You provides QHSE support and advice, including supervision on preparation of plans and procedures, for initial contract start up activities.
  • You are responsible for the Corporate guidelines, the implementation, updating, review and auditing of the Company QHSE Systems; ISO9001:2015; ISO14001:2015 and in the future ISO:45001
  • You monitor the effective implementation of appropriate Quality, Safety and Environment System procedures and provide for their updating in line with changes in Legislation and Company Directives.
  • You assist the Commercial, Engineering and Operations Department in their dealings with clients in all Sustainability, Quality, Health and Safety issues.
  • You conducts quality and safety audits, both internal and external.
  • You take part in accident / incident investigation.
  • You carry out analysis of QHSE statistics, identify trends and suggest improvement plans.
  • You provide technical support to Senior Management on quality or safety related subjects.
  • You carrie out in-house safety training.
  • You prepare Quality, Health, Environment and Safety documentation for new tenders.


One day as a QHSE coordinator/manager

You start the day with a meeting with your colleages from the Operations department and a good cup of coffee. For their department, you will discuss the analysis of QHSE statistics, identified trends and discuss your strategic improvement plans. At 12 o’clock you will have lunch with your colleagues. This is always a great moment to have some cross-department interaction. Next you will prepare a meeting with the Managing Director France, who will visit the Nieuwegein office next week. The goal of the meeting is to provide QHSE support and advice for initial contract start up activities. You will discuss how the team responds to the new safety process. You use this input to improve the quality and safety culture within PitPoint. To end your day you will prepare a presentation about the status of QHSE at PitPoint.


  • Clear ability to engage with managers and staff to encourage a genuine commitment to high standards of QHSE performance
  • The ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels.
  • Energetic, self-motivated, pro-active team player
  • Good developed analytical and problem solving skills


Training and Experience

  • Bachelor or MSc degree in Engineering or other technical discipline
  • Knowledge and relevant experience with certifiers and external audits (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001)
  • Experience with maintenance and roll-out of ISO based managementsystems in a fast growing company
  • Good knowledge of English and basic Dutch, preference for French and/or German (basic)
